I found this link to the food network's show on diners along Route 66. It's an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives that featured three restaurants along Route 66, from Arizona to Missouri.

Whats the big deal about an old road??

It's gotta be different things for different people. I remember the first time I had my first adventure on the mother road it really resonated with me for some reason, and I had no idea why. I just found myself wanting to go back. Every time I found something new. From magazines to Michael Wallis book, I'd find myself wanting to go to those places.

I love Route 66

Just got back from my first route 66 Trip of the season, and like always, route 66 never stays the same. It's always different. It's amazing that in the 20 plus year's ive been in love with the mother road how much of it has either died or revived. It always makes it interesting. It makes it worth seeing again and again.

Included are an interview with Michael Wallis done at the Route 66 convention in Litchfield last year, A phone interview with Harley and Annabelle Russell and an interview with David Clark. Setting up booth @ route 66 red carpet corridor in chenoa

Hi all again I am gonna be @ the Red carpet corridor event in chenoa il May 2 and 3rd 2009. I am doing a fundraiser for my 3yr old son to help with his trips to St. Louis MO. to the childrens hospital eye center. The route 66 event in september 2008 in st louis mo/granite city

St Louis 2.28.09

My wife and I headed to Saint Lou-ee yesterday. Our main purpose for going was for the annual stamp expo. I was very pleased to acquire a few route 66 pictorial postmarks one for Hamel IL which had a car cruising along Route 66 and one for Collinsville IL it pictured the World's Largest Catsup Bottle. The Road Crew in Joplin! Aug 2013

The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band will be the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival this year! We'll be playing on Main Street in Galena, Friday evening at 6pm and on Main Street Joplin Saturday night at 7:30. We will also add a mini-concert to this list at Afton Staion at 1pm Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you guys August 2nd thru the 4th, 2013!
