About Me:
I am a Disabled 59 yr Route 66 Fan, that would love to travel the entire length of Route 66, but must limit myself to the pics & videos I find online and a few local trips here in Oklahoma! Because I am pumping along unfortunately (Doctors tell me after a 5 way bypass surgery) with only 50% heart muscle left, and Diabetes, high blood pressure, and vascular disease, with the medicines I have to take I can't drive long distances, so I can't get out & travel like I want too!
And here lately I do at lot of clumsy things like cutting my left thumb off trying to use a table saw.......lol. falling and breaking a bone in my right wrist that has finally healed up, Medicines I have to take make me dizzy and forgetful sometimes, I think all those years of drinking, smoking and thinking I was invincible are probably to blame.....lol

But as a disabled person I still get to travel a lot, visit interesting, people, places, cities & towns, attractions, landmarks, via my Internet/Mobile, currently a Cagora Model
Sometimes I still use the Facebook Vehicle , or the Flickr Transport , yes even the Perfspot Bike occasionally, as I sit here in my glider, in front of my Computer, busy checking out the different Communities, Groups, (Yahoo, Msn, Google, etc: ).

Having driven over the Road as a trucker for a few years, I fell in love with the people & attractions, mom & pop businesses along the Mother Road, Route 66, well worth the stops and detours I was forced to make to visit the sites.

But now I can visit the Web Sites that the some of the Roadies (people who love and travel Route 66) and the Businesses that fortunately for me put up Web Sites for people to view & visit.

Of course even though Route 66 is a passion of mine, there are other places and people I also love visiting with my Internet/Mobile, and luckily I found the Cagora Community With up to 10,000 Local Worlds , and adding more Worlds of Interests everyday! From Music to Dogs and Cats, and lots in between! so that was where I put my route 66 site! So Disabled or just Overworked, or lacking in Funds, learn to use your own Internet/Mobile & Go visit & make new friends, see new sites, learn new things, put some nice foot prints in someones sand, and nice memories in their future!

Thanks for the friend invite This is Arthina, Dennis' girlfriend. He is asleep right now but we both know what you mean about having to limit your travels. We are both disabled but we have opened a small pool room in Eufaula OK to keep us off the couch. LOL Arthina

Hey Rick, thanks for the friend add and good to see you on board. I just got back from the day on 66 in Seligman, AZ and I'll be adding some photos I took. Stop by and check back often since I'm always riding the Mother Road (and adding more photos). I spent that day in Seligman with a reporter from Phoenix who is going to try and help in our campaign to save the Harvey House there. I'll keep posting more photos and from my site you can find links to even more photos from other sites I have. I'm also disabled but lucky enough to still be able to ride my Harley and keep on travelin' Route 66.
