- There are some wonderful drives there and most are obvious (around Haleakala, the Kameamea Hwy loop, etc.). Don't let peoples' scare stories keep you from trying certain routes. Honoapiilani Hwy is passable. You can go past Hana on Maui. Be cautious but find out what's possible for yourself. Don't let others dampen your sense of adventure. Good luck!

- Yeah, the other shot I considered was me at age 7. Who knows, maybe I'll swap them out.
Remember, 66 starts at a Great Lake and ends at the Pacific Ocean!

The Road Crew in Joplin! Aug 2013
The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band will be the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival this year! We'll be playing on Main Street in Galena, Friday evening at 6pm and on Main Street Joplin Saturday night at 7:30. We will also add a mini-concert to this list at Afton Staion at 1pm Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you guys August 2nd thru the 4th, 2013!
