- Loved cars since I was a kid. Love the Route 66 TV series and American values represented by other shows like "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Happy Days" and movies like "It's a Wonderful Life" and "To Kill a Mockingbird". Also loved the Disney movie "Cars". Drive a 2008 Mustang GT (Bullitt edition) and belong to the International Mustang Bullitt Owners Club (www.imboc.com) as well as the National Historic Route 66 Federation. Will be attending the 2010 Route 66 festival in Joplin, MO.
- Why are you here
- To connect with other Route 66 people, especially about bringing the sense of community back to the rest of America. I like the expression "preserving America's past and its future" that I saw on this site. America's future definitely involves figuring out how we can be one community where we respect each other's differences, help each other when necessary, and just be friendly but not intrusive the rest of the time. That's my 2 cents.
- List Of My Favorite Route 66 Places
- My upcoming trip on Route 66 (early May 2011) will be my first time on the Mother Road. But I did drive x-country with my father when I was 13 in 1968. Hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon was a great experience.

The Road Crew in Joplin! Aug 2013
The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band will be the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival this year! We'll be playing on Main Street in Galena, Friday evening at 6pm and on Main Street Joplin Saturday night at 7:30. We will also add a mini-concert to this list at Afton Staion at 1pm Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you guys August 2nd thru the 4th, 2013!
