Hi Sherry,
my name is John Randazzo and just joined the Route 66 Club. I live in Livonia, Michigan and worked at Ford Motor Company as a vehicle test engineer. When the Route 66 highway closed down in Illinois and replaced by Interstate 55, I was given one of the original Route 66 road signs that was taken off the route by the government. My uncle worked there and acquired two signs and gave me one. My family traveled that route from Detroit to St. Louis all the time to visit relatives. It was awesome. I have had this sign for a lot of years now and I am wondering if any collectors are interested in it. Thanks for allowing me to leave this comment. Bye...

The Road Crew in Joplin! Aug 2013
The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band will be the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival this year! We'll be playing on Main Street in Galena, Friday evening at 6pm and on Main Street Joplin Saturday night at 7:30. We will also add a mini-concert to this list at Afton Staion at 1pm Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you guys August 2nd thru the 4th, 2013!
