Hi Michael, I live in Nashville. One year I flew to LA and drove to Oklahoma City, the next year I flew to Chicago and drove to Oklahoma City. Each time I drove the rental car back through Memphis. If you're going to drive your own car?... you should drive to LA and begin in Santa Monica. The drive from Chicago to GA would be more at doable at the ned of your trip. Thanks for joining.
