- Traveled the route 24 times total prior to the age of 13 -- at the age of 42, I went back and did it again alone. That's when I realized that I had memorized mountains and landscape throughout the early journeys. The roadside places I remembered were long gone. I guess the details are waiting for my memoir now... all 38 volumes -- lol:)
