I'm assuming this is somewhere around Joplin, but am really not sure. I found this photo floating around loose in a box of old snapshots. I guess it's about 20 years old. Any ideas?
Gorgeous photo! A lot of people take this shot at night (and who can blame them, with that great neon?) but it looks great in daylight, especially the way the shades of blue complement each other!
I have that poster. I purchased it at the Cardinal Hill Candle Shop in Rochester, IL. Bob's brother Bill runs it now. It was going for $10 due to it being out of print. I am glad you enjoyed looking through my scan's. I am hoping to add more of his…
Thanks Les. Just got back from Seligman, Kingman, Oatman last weekend. A quick visit. Bonnie and I were going to meet a friend in Las Vegas but that fell through. We already had our tickets so made it a Route 66 trip. To short! will you make it to the Festival in Joplin in June?

Hi Les,
I just got back home and found you message from the 15th. I was back east and talked a friend of mine into taking more photos of 66 where he lives in St. Louis. I like your choices for music on your page .. my kind of music! Glad you liked my photos and hope you've been able to see the webshots albums. I'll also invite you to join the Yahoo group that I moderate. It's: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/route66news/ I'll hope to see you there -
Don
Hi Les, I actually was just at the Buffalo Ranch a couple of days ago, or what's left of it. Welcome to the group. Let me know if you need anything?

I enjoyed glancing at the Josh's scans of Bob Waldmire's work--too bad it's so hard to find such things online. At least I have some I bought on the road, salted away from past trips. Ebay does, however, have a Waldmire poster of Hannibal MO listed, bids starting at $7.99, 6 days left.
