I'm the owner of Afton Station in Afton, OK, a small Route 66 welcome center and museum and a vintage car museum which houses our 20+ Packards and other old vehicles. I also collect Route 66 memorabilia, particularly postcards.

Wow, so many! I know I'll forget many of my favorites, but just for starters I love the Blue Whale in Catoosa OK, the Cozy Dog in Springfield IL, Eisler Brothers in Riverton KS, The Munger Moss Motel in Lebanon MO, the Four Women on the Route in Galena KS, the whole city of Tulsa OK, all of the panhandle of TX, Tucumcari NM, the CA desert, and on and on and on.....

We was in Tulsa when they digged Miss Belvedere up this summer. The only place that it was rain on us for 5 weeks. But I am sad to say that we missed the station in Afton.
Hey, don't laugh. I was actually beginning to feel unpopular because nobody wanted to be my friend. Maybe this is what they mean by "second childhood". :-)
