Great job documenting this place! There's something about old motels & cabins like this. I prowled around in a similar place in Maryland about 25 years ago and even found a night table lamp intact, shade and all...I still use it! Thanks for sharing…
Great to have a friend from the city of my favourite auther Bill Bryson.I went through there in 96 though all i can remember seeing there was a red London bus of all things.Great photos BTW i'll have to get round to posting a few.
Wow, you are braver than we were. We drove by the cabins the first time, and on the way back through, kept on going. Something about them in the distance made them look about as appealing as walking the route. I was sure nice to see your pics. While obviously derelict, the ruins were actually quite interesting. I think next time, we'll actually go up for a closer look!
