We're Julian Wayne and Nancy Hagan from Spring Hill, TN. We took our first Route 66 trip May 2010 and had a fabulous time! Our first day starting out from Chicago on the Mother Road was Nancy's birthday! 8 days later we arrived at the end of the trail on Santa Monica Pier followed by 4 wonderful days with our 3 children and son-in-law.
The road trip inspired us to write our first, self-published book, "Broken, Not Forgotten: The Parallels of Route 66 and Life". See our banner ad on the home page of Route 66 People. Check out more information about and order copies of the book on our website; www.brokennotforgotten.com
Thanks for encouraging comments in our book from Founder of Route 66 People, Joe Loesch. We're really thankful for Joe and his vision for this great site...Route 66 People!
God bless you all,
Julian Wayne & Nancy Hagan

The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band was the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival, August 2-3. Performed on Main Street in Galena, Friday and on Main Street in Joplin Saturday night. Performed for over 15,000 people in Joplin! Their mini-concert at Afton Station that Sunday afternoon was a big hit with visitors. We had a great time on Route 66! Hoping to see everyone in Kingman next year!
