Hometown:
Springfield, Missouri, HOME OF THE MOTHER ROAD.;)
Country:
USA
About Me:
Hello, I was born and reared on the curbside of the MOTHER ROAD here in Springfield, Missouri, the locale where the designation 66 was decided upon! I love classic cars, especially mopars, and classic car literature, diners in the tradition of the road and more! I am a librarian, love to read, write, see movies, vintage and some modern TV, and am single, never yet married. Look me up sometime eh?:)
Favorite Music:
I like Bobby Troup and Nat King Cole's rendition of ROUTE 66 and also that of DEPECHE MODE.;) I like rock, pop, some country, some classical, love songs, blues, and some rap.
Why are you here
ROUTE 66 the TV show of course, and any shows from the sixties featurign vintage iron, such as HAWAII FIVE O, ANDY GRIFFITH. Movies include FLIM FLAM MAN, GREAT RACE, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, VANISHING POINT and THE GETAWAY, but many more would come to mind.;)
List Of My Favorite Route 66 Places
Springfield of course, lol, but I'd love to see more of the mother road's hallmark towns and cities with a female roadie, sorta like Brad Pitt lol in that movie THELMA AND LOUISE, but without the violent end.;)
