An apology and a few updates

First, I would like to apologize for the long delay in updates, posts,and contributions. There are a litany of excuses but no justification. So, let me bring you up to date. With the exception of evaluating the galley proofs, the Route 66 Encyclopedia is finished. The official debut will be in October at Cuba Fest in Cuba, Missouri. The first entertainment committee turned us down and the new committee got to us too late before we accepted to headline the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival in Springfield Missouri. At least we'll be playing on Route 66, and we love Missouri! Hope to see you sometime soon.

The Road Crew in Joplin! Aug 2013

The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band will be the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival this year! We'll be playing on Main Street in Galena, Friday evening at 6pm and on Main Street Joplin Saturday night at 7:30. We will also add a mini-concert to this list at Afton Staion at 1pm Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you guys August 2nd thru the 4th, 2013!
