Be careful, we spent a lot of money there! Can we really drink $50 dollars in soda! Nope, but it sure was cool tasting it all. It really is a beautiful place--colors everywhere from the soda.

I can't wait to visit POPS, someday. I have to seen that Neon bottle lit up in person and drink some fine carbonated soda.

About Me:
enjoy traveling by car- sight seeing, tasting really good food and of course really weird food. Have driven from Illinois-California a few times. Still have lots to see, havent dedicated an entire trip to 66...yet. Illinois is my home, but I have lived and worked at Grand Canyon, Arizona. Remember seeing 66 signs in Flagstaff and always thinking how cool that was--had no idea at the time it was still a living and breathing machine!
Favorite Music:
anything playing
Why are you here
"Cars", RV (end of movie music scene!), still thinking of more.
List Of My Favorite Route 66 Places
Illinois Route 66- Love it!
Oklahoma Route 66- Pops in Arcadia
Arizona Route 66- Love the road and quirky stops
Blue Hole, Old motels and neon, Painted Desert
Meteor Crater (what a trip!)

Heather,

Always good seeing and haring from you. Glad to see that you are part of this group. Wish I had more time to be on it, but first things first and now that the 66 travel season is beginning, as you well know, will have less time being on computor.

Best get back to the bunnies,

I think that it is awesome of Anne to spread the word about this site with all her tourism contacts. I have probaly ran into all of you and didn't know it at the Mother Road Festival or Litchfield Festival.

Greetings fellow Illinoisian. It's nice to see someone young like me on the group. Sounds like you've done some travelling down the route. Please post some pictures.
