World known artist, Bob Waldmire is hosting his last Art Show, this is because of his losing battle with terminal cancer. He will be displaying original works of art, selling various prints, postcards, posters, stickers, t-shirts, etc. If you haven't met Bob before now is your opportunity.
Always good seeing and haring from you. Glad to see that you are part of this group. Wish I had more time to be on it, but first things first and now that the 66 travel season is beginning, as you well know, will have less time being on…"
enjoy traveling by car- sight seeing, tasting really good food and of course really weird food. Have driven from Illinois-California a few times. Still have lots to see, havent dedicated an entire trip to 66...yet. Illinois is my home, but I have lived and worked at Grand Canyon, Arizona. Remember seeing 66 signs in Flagstaff and always thinking how cool that was--had no idea at the time it was still a living and breathing machine!
Why are you here

I think that it is awesome of Anne to spread the word about this site with all her tourism contacts. I have probaly ran into all of you and didn't know it at the Mother Road Festival or Litchfield Festival.
The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band was the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival, August 2-3. Performed on Main Street in Galena, Friday and on Main Street in Joplin Saturday night. Performed for over 15,000 people in Joplin! Their mini-concert at Afton Station that Sunday afternoon was a big hit with visitors. We had a great time on Route 66! Hoping to see everyone in Kingman next year!
