Sorry to hear you wont be in Joplin. We really enjoy the Festivals. It nice to get together with everyone involved in Route 66 preservation.

I won't be able to visit Joplin in June--waiting until my daughter's school lets out, then we're taking a midwest loop during the last week of the month with a little Illinois 66 (Chicago to Springfield IL) before heading back east. We will, however, be going to Las Vegas (NV) sooner (in about 3 weeks) to visit my daughters (one of whom's married to a Canadian) before going out to California to see family just before Easter, and get a little Victorville-Barstow 66 in. Looks like that's going to be all the 66 for this year, unfortunately. At least for now! :-)

Dear George,

how are you? I hope o.k.! I just saw that you plan to be on the rt 66 event in Flagstaff this weekend. If you get information, please let me know how things are going on for Twin Arrows east of Flagstaff??? Is it for sale??
Will there be the Fall west to east Fun Run this weekend, too?
And of course say hallo to everybody of the Canadian Association and to the people of the AZ Ass., too.
I wish I had the chance to come over, too. I hope you´ll have a good time.
With greetings from Germany, Your friend Markus :-)

HAPPY DRIVING !!!

Bonnie & I are both fine. We are having a very cool summer in Vancouver this year but it looks like it may warm up next week. We are taking our 1970 Camaro to the Ronald McDonald Show & Shine Sunday. This raises money for the Ronald McDonald House so that kids from out of town and their parents can be together when they are sick. I hope you are having a good summer. Keep in touch.
