Get More Kicks On Route 66
Hi...Darren Long here. My wife Vickie and I enjoyed a mini Route 66 adventure last weekend. We headed up to Springfield, MO for the 'Birthplace of Route 66 Festival'...which featured our friends the Road Crew closing out the live music portion. The guys were awesome and the crowd was happy...great vintage cars all around the square, too.
Vickie and I got onto Route 66 in Joplin, MO then drove down to Tulsa, OK...seeing many cool spots. a very nice trip indeed!

The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band will be the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival this year! We'll be playing on Main Street in Galena, Friday evening at 6pm and on Main Street Joplin Saturday night at 7:30. We will also add a mini-concert to this list at Afton Staion at 1pm Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you guys August 2nd thru the 4th, 2013!
