Currently a freelance photographer and journalist, former writer and account executive for the Route 66 Pulse for California and Arizona. It was great to have meet you and your husband in Amboy almost 2 weeks ago. I had a great time and I got to see a preview of the article that you wrote for the Pulse. Thanks for what you said about me. Hope to see you and yours again on the Mother Road.
Darlene, Welcome to Route 66. Let me know if you need anything? Please post a photo in your profile. We have a lot of really great members with loads of knowledge about the Mother Road. Contact any of them with questions. Just so you'll know, members who do not post a photo by May 1st, will be removed from th site. Again, welcome the the group.
The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band was the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival, August 2-3. Performed on Main Street in Galena, Friday and on Main Street in Joplin Saturday night. Performed for over 15,000 people in Joplin! Their mini-concert at Afton Station that Sunday afternoon was a big hit with visitors. We had a great time on Route 66! Hoping to see everyone in Kingman next year!
