We were following an online guide I'd printed up, alerting us to this old agricultural inspection station between Newberry Springs and Daggett. The smoky sky from the LA-area wildfires nearly obscured the sun.

The Road Crew in Joplin! Aug 2013
The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band will be the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival this year! We'll be playing on Main Street in Galena, Friday evening at 6pm and on Main Street Joplin Saturday night at 7:30. We will also add a mini-concert to this list at Afton Staion at 1pm Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you guys August 2nd thru the 4th, 2013!
