Get More Kicks On Route 66
Foundation date of "The Big Texan" ?
Hi there
I'm working on this french blog about Route 66 (http://route66.desmonts.net/, comments welcome :) ), and I've been wondering when the iconic Big Texan Steak Ranch had opened its doors ?
Their website only gives a year (1960, so it's turning 50 in 2010 !), but has anyone heard of a more precise date ?
This piece of info could really be useful as I'm planning to write a story about TBT !

There is a book about The Big Texan. Check with Rich Henry at Henry's Rabbit Ranch in Staunton IL. He has it in stock, I can't remember the author or title.
