First, I would like to apologize for the long delay in updates, posts,and contributions. There are a litany of excuses but no justification. So, let me bring you up to date. With the exception of evaluating the galley proofs, the Route 66 Encyclopedia is finished. The official debut will be in October at Cuba Fest in Cuba, Missouri. Thanks to the gracious contributions of Steve Rider, Mike Ward, and Joe Sonderman, I am quite confident that this work will be a wonderful visual history of our favorite highway. The text is built around a foundation consisting of a concise history of every community on Route 66. Another project just completed this week is the launch of the Jim Hinckley Studio through Zenfolio, one with Arizona images and one with Route 66 images. As always, your thoughts and opinions would be most appreciated. I hope to see you on the road this summer.
