Friday night June 10th the ‘Texas Crossroads’ kicks off the first hour of the evening at 9pm in the Nat Ballroom, Amarillo Texas. Then ‘The Road Crew’ takes over for the ‘Sock Hop’ from 10 to midnight, playing oldies from Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Rick Nelson and “Songs From The Mother Road” from their salute to Route 66 CD. Meet your fellow roadies, artist, author's, musicians, etc at the festival! There will be a car show and plenty to do. You’ll feel the Rock-A-Billy Beat when The Road Crew takes to the stage in Downtown Amarillo on Saturday afternoon (the 11th) from 2 to 3 pm. Don't miss the awards banquet early Saturday evening and then catch The Road Crew at the historic Route 66 Candle Light Cantina on Saturday night beginning at 9pm! The Road Crew in Joplin! Aug 2013
The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band will be the opening act for the International Route 66 Festival this year! We'll be playing on Main Street in Galena, Friday evening at 6pm and on Main Street Joplin Saturday night at 7:30. We will also add a mini-concert to this list at Afton Staion at 1pm Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you guys August 2nd thru the 4th, 2013!
